Opening of the exhibition by Antonio Miccichè and Sandro Scalia.
Drawing and photography, opposites by nature, are mutually attracted through a continuous play of references to cinema and painting: on Saturday 3 December, at 6 pm, the exhibition by Antonio Miccichè e Sandro Scaliaopens at the Galleria Nuvole; it can be visited until 4 February, Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am–1 pm and 5–7.30 pm.
While Scalia’s photography – of which this exhibition presents again the “Bagnanti” (Bathers) series – is pushed towards an unusual impressionism dense with moods, the chiaroscuro of Miccichè’s drawings from the new series “Diario d’inverno” (Winter Diary) delves into the depths of feeling with an almost photographic sharpness.
Some of the drawings and some of the photographs in particular bring to mind the cinema of Michelangelo Antonioni.
